Tamika "Tam" Curley has always had a passion for writing. She began writing poetry in junior high school and she later wrote for her high school newspaper, The Hi-Gusher. Many years later Tam circled back around to writing when she wrote a letter to the editor at The Clarion Ledger after relocating from California to Mississippi. Tam did not write again until early 2020, when she wrote briefly as an event writer/photographer for The Rambler Newspaper until the pandemic put a halt to that.
